Boat Charter FAQ

No. All charters are captained. Your captain handles the boat from dock to dock, so no one in your group needs any licence or boating experience.

Up to 8 guests per charter, depending on weight distribution and safety requirements. Infants don't count toward the limit.

Kelowna's downtown marina near Waterfront Park. Exact meetup details come with your booking confirmation from Square.

Sunscreen, towels, water, and anything you want for a comfortable lake day. Hats and sunglasses help on bright afternoons. Life jackets and safety gear are already on board.

Yes. Swim stops are one of the best parts of a charter. Your captain will anchor somewhere calm and safe — just say you want swim time when you board, or plan for it with a 3 or 4 hour charter.

Yes. Kids are welcome and properly sized life jackets are required for them at all times on the water. Let us know ages when you book so the right gear is ready.

Yes. Snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and picnic items are welcome — a small cooler works well. See the policies page for our alcohol policy.

Yes. Fuel is included in every charter price. There's nothing extra to pay at the dock.

If conditions are unsafe, we'll cancel or offer to reschedule. If we cancel for safety, you get a full refund. Okanagan weather can shift fast, so we make the call with plenty of notice when we can.

Cancel 48+ hours before your charter for a full refund. Cancellations 24–48 hours out receive a 50% refund. Under 24 hours or no-shows are not refunded. Full details on the policies page.

About 15 minutes before your start time. That covers meeting your captain, the safety briefing, and getting everyone aboard so your full charter time is spent on the water.

Yes. Bring your playlist. Keep the volume reasonable near docks, beaches, and other boats — your captain will let you know if it needs to come down.

No. The Sea Ray 195 Sport doesn't have a bathroom on board, so plan around your charter length. There are washrooms near the downtown marina before departure.
